We use NLP and large language data from the social web (Facebook, Twitter, Reddit) to measure the psychological states of large populations and individuals, to determine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that drive illness, depression, or support well-being.
The F.A.S.T. Lab studies implementation science in conjunction with Cognitive Behavior Therapies and other Evidence-Based treatments for PTSD, Depression, and other mental/behavioral health issues.

HLAB: Human Language Analysis Beings
HLAB (Human Language Analysis Beings) is now based at Vanderbilt University’s College of Connected Computing, with continuing collaborations and affiliations at Stony Brook University, Computer Science. The Human Language Analysis Beings (HLAB) develops human-centered language processing techniques, pushing the bounds for: Artificial intelligence-based (AI) language understanding, and improving the accurate assessment and understanding of human and social psychological health.
The Road Home Program Research team has years of experience researching and working with those with PTSD. We are passionate about innovating and improving care for those living with PTSD through research. We hope to develop and test ways to make treatments briefer, more accessible, and more beneficial.
